UMBC qualifies for National AIChE ChemE Jeopardy Competition

Seven CBEE undergraduate students participated in AIChE ChemE Jeopardy Competition during the AIChE Mid-Atlantic Regional conference at NJIT in two teams. The team members, represented all student levels, first year through senior year. The teams competed against teams from University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, University of Pennsylvania, Youngstown State University, and Pennsylvania State University. 

Team 1, qualified for the Nationals, with their second place finish. 

This is the third year in a row UMBC will complete at the National  AIChE ChemE Jeopardy competition.
