Why I chose CBEE: I enjoy learning, mainly with the sciences. My strongest science is chemistry, and I was encouraged to go into engineering.
Areas of Interest in Chemical Engineering: Pollution, water/soil treatment.
My favorite thing about CBEE is: How supportive everyone in CBEE is with each other.
Advice for a new CBEE student: It is important to work hard and focus on your academics; however, don’t forget to have good mental health. New students forget to go out and spend time with friends, for CBEE students, a great way is to participate in AIChE. Building a friend group can also help build study groups, making the hurdle of academics into a hill.
What I plan to do with my Chemical Engineering degree: I plan on doing research in the tunneling industry and improving environmental safety of tunneling sites.
