When was your research experience?
June 2024 to present
What was the focus of your research?
Studying the relationship between sulfate concentration and depth. Additionally, I help maintain the sensors deployed throughout the Dead Run watershed that analyze the water temperature, depth, turbidity, and dissolved oxygen.
What was the best part of your research experience OR what was the biggest learning moment of your research experience?
The best part of my research has been writing a technical report, which has allowed me to gain further insight into experimental design and writing. It has also allowed me to gain experience in properly managing and organizing data.
What advice do you have for students who are interested in getting involved in research?
Talk to your professors about internships and possible working opportunities.
What are your goals after graduation?
I plan to attain my master's at UMBC then get involved in the renewable energy industry.
