PhD student Marilyn Allen awarded lupus research fellowship

Congratulations to UMBC CBEE PhD student Marilyn Allen, who was awarded the Gina M. Finzi Memorial Student Summer Fellowship by the Lupus Foundation of America on Tuesday, September 11! She received this fellowship for her research in antimalarial drugs in the treatment of lupus, and was one of only six recipients. She is mentored by Dr. Gregory Szeto.
